After plugin - "C" prompts setting current time, push HOUR button to advance through the 24-hr day to the closest half-hour, touch PROGRAM to set time. After time is set, "P" will flash to set block heater start time each day (2-3 hrs before commute); Push the HOUR button to advance and PROGRAM to set. Flashing "E" prompts to set block heater auto-shutoff time for daily departure; Push the HOUR button to advance and PROGRAM to set; Time will display.
