Description

National Instruments PXI-8186 embedded controller unit with Windows XP Professional operating system. Tested, fully functional.
There is a small damage in one corner of the PXI connector (see photos), but the controller plugs in safely.
The NI PXI-8186/8187 PXI/CompactPCI embedded computer is a high-performance PXI/CompactPCI-compatible system controller. The NI PXI-8186/8187 controller integrates standard I/O features in a single unit by using state-of-the-art packaging. Combining an NI PXI-8186/8187 embedded controller with a PXI-compatible chassis, such as the PXI-1042, results in a fully PC-compatible computer in a compact, rugged package.
The standard I/O on each module includes video, two RS-232 serial ports, a parallel port, two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, 10/100 ENET, PS/2 mouse and keyboard port, a reset button, a PXI trigger, and a PCI-based GPIB controller. The NI PXI-8186 has a 2.2 GHz processor, all the standard I/O, and a 30 GB (or larger) hard drive.
